COLLEGE STRESS!

It's 11:26 on a Saturday night. I'm home in Lubbock, crunching numbers and trying to figure out what grades I need to make this semester to get a scholarship for next fall: I am totally stressing out.

My current standing is a 3.75...I need to maintain a 3.5 to get $3,000 from this school I'm transferring to. Sounds easy? NOT. I'm taking Microbiology (without prior background to biology whatsoever, unless you count pre-ap biology in the 9th grade), Anatomy and Physiology, English Tech. Communications, and English Lit.

This is a REALLY tough load for me.

Consequently, this next part would be the section that I would complain about my Professors who are mean and unhelpful, but I'm not going to do that. I'm responsible for my own grade. My only observation on college classes is that they aren't always fair...sometimes it's impossible to make an A, no matter how hard you studied. I hate that! I think if you study your tail off and go to class, and ask questions you deserve the chance to make an A; which I can tell you from personal experience, is not always the case. (CHEMISTRY) =(

And on top of that, I'm also worried about actually getting into nursing school when the time comes. Most of the reasons stem from me just being paranoid, but I do have a few valid claims,

1. I will only have been at their school for 1 semester.
2. ....okay, okay so maybe I have just one valid claim, but it doesn't take away from the fact that I am nervous.

Fortunately, I have a God who loves me and I have decided to cast my cares on him. In fact, I decided as of 30 seconds ago to fully place my future in His hands. Woo hoo! What a relief.

Wow, that really helped! And I only complained the entire post! ;)

Goodnight,

Amanda

Silly Roomies

My roomate Jennifer and I have been having a hard time figuring out how to wear this dress/shirt thing I got for Christmas from my grandma. We finally decided that "iguana" style is best.
